Currently this is not available, and need to perform several clicks in or to find search results within forums e.g. go to the global search, type in search text, hit your [ENTER] key, click on the Forum tab from the main search results page, and then, and only then, are you able to see the search results.
If the same built-in search that is found on the Solutions page, was also on the Forums page, that would be exactly what is needed. I know if I am reporting this, thousands of other customers are needing this as well.
