Close a ticket without notifying requestor notice

I know that it is possible to change the status of a ticket with email commands.  And I know it's possible to close a ticket without sending notice to the requestor with Shift+Close in the web page.


It is possible to close a ticket without notice to the requestor with email commands?

Thanks for writing to Freshdesk today. Unfortunately, we do not have the functionality to suppress a requester notifications via Email commands. I can add it to our product backlog, but its not on our immediate roadmap.

How about turning all the requester Notifications off and instead using the Observer rules to send out notifications when you want them? Wouldn't that solve your needs?
