We are using Freshdesk for B2B end user support, so all of our users are associated with companies.

In the ticket list under the Tickets tab, I would like to see the Company name along with each user.

Yes. Agree. This is a MUST HAVE for us! It is really counter productive to have our techs edit a ticket and put the name in front of it.

WOW... I just submitted a ticket to SUPPORT for this one also....

When we are looking at an entire list of open tickets, and all that shows is the requester name, it is so counterproductive to be working on one ticket when someone else from the same company also has requests.  We can't remember everyone's name and which company they work for when we have hundreds of clients.  And

we like to group our changes.

If they could either:
1. Next to the name of the requester, put the email address (usually our clients use their own company's email)
or
2. When the mouse scrolls over the name, if a pop up could show the email address and the company name.

Something, anything... that makes our support more productive. To have to go through a list of over 20 requests and open each one so you can see the company name, is not productive.

And someone once suggested that we ask our clients to put in the subject the company name!!!  We are lucky if they fill in a subject line period.  And to ask our clients to have to do something that makes our ticket system more efficient is not productive for them.

Please look into this asap.

Thanks

It is so so annoying

Just to keep you all up to date, I received a response to my support ticket:

Thanks for writing to us.

The requested customization is currently unavailable for the tickets view page but as a work around you can use the ticket filters which are available in the left margin of the tickets view page to sort out tickets based on company.

Hope this helps.

I will be responding that doesn't really help when the support person then has to change their view 22 ( and still growing! could be as many as 35 plus companies in 2014) times to check for all companies and have them requests grouped.

And what happens after they do all this sorting on what is currently there, begin their work, and then another request comes in?  Sort everything again?

I don't know about anyone else, but this is  not an easy solution to the issue.

Come on Guys. How dificult can this be? Make it a customable option.

Hello everyone,

We are currently considering this feature right now. Will give you an update if we decide to implement the same.

Thanks

@Johannes

The company name can be found next to the Requester's name in the ticket list view.

In the below screenshot, x-men, displayed within brackets, is the company name.

Hello,

In addition to the company name, you can also display various field values in the ticket list view page using the new customised table view on Mint. Read more about this here.

Cheers!
