Could I request the ability to be able to add a custom fields to the templates that allow for the richer editing (such as this one i'm using right now) this would allow us to add tables and images etc.. into custom sections of the template.

I am afraid I don't see this happening anytime soon, Craig. Is there any specific use case that you're willing to share with us?

Thanks for coming back to me, an example would be a table within a custom for that the end user can fill in as needed, as currently to achieve the same function requires a number of separate individual fields
I would also like to have the option of inserting a table as a custom form field. Or alternatively, allow single line fields to stack side by side (like columns).
+6making the "text area" field rich text link the main description field would be ideal, my use case is when people are trying to insert images inline, they cant on service request because of the field type
