Custom Placeholders for use in Solutions

I would like the ability to create custom placeholders (a better way to think of them would be variables) that can be used in solution articles. For example, I am writing articles where I am referencing the name of a server for a specific application, but the name of the server has changed multiple times in the last year. I would like to be able to do something like say {{server.application_name}} wherever that server name needs to be used. Then there could be a single place to create/edit/delete these placeholders/variables, rather than having to find and edit every article that uses them.
