We basically have 2 different workflows.
-
Requests coming from customers, which create tickets and the customer is aware of the ticketing system.
- Requests created by agents for which the customers has no idea about the ticketing system (and we don't want them to)
My question is about the new account notification e-mail sent to the customer and the combination with allowing people to create their account.
In general, we DON'T want people to receive a notification when WE create an account for them (forward an e-mail), so we turned the notification off.
BUT, we need them to receive a greetings/set your password e-mail when they create their account from the public portal.
Is there a way to make a distinction between the 2 situations and send notifications only to the latter?
