It would be nice to have the software record the link as soon as the requester clicks it, so that if they decide not to leave written feedback and click submit on the web site, their initial feedback selection is still recorded.

Customer Satisfaction Survey
Someone has asked for exactly the opposite so they implemented this two steps as a feature. The problem is that there are many companies who scan the URLs in the email for phishing and spam, so that search from the bot is saved as an answer. This person was saying that they got few negative feedback responses and when they called those customers they said they didn't leave any reply.
I can see the reason now for the 2 step process but how do tools like http://teamhively.com/ do it with 1 click without any issues?
I've had a number of people tell me they don't bother clicking anything because they can't just click it once to record they are happy and feel they have to say something
