Customization of the Sign Up form

I'd like for new users to be able to fill in the Company Name field in the Sign Up form (ideally with the ability to make the field a drop-down or auto-complete with field validation).


As far as I can tell, this is the only way we'd be able to create an effective Dispatch'r automation using the Company Name field as a criterion.

I also would like to see this feature.
Adding an extra input field would be very nice.

  • Not sure why this feature is not there. its quite basic and essential to any company. 

  • If one has to turn to a solution like Freshdesk it means that we have a large customer base. 

  • I am not sure if a resource can be allotted to figure the company and contact when a sign up happens. 

  • How does one identify the person from an email address used?

We'd love to see this feature as well, since the portal would allow customers to login with their private emails, we can't necessarily map them to their company using that criteria.

Hello,


Freshdesk automatically recognises users based on the domain address and maps them to the same company record. All you have to do is to create a company and fill in the domains for this company field with the specific domain address.

As explained by Ludovic Lafrate the topics are completly different. We (also) would like to be able to customise the User Activation Page:

For the time being, we do not have the provision to customize the user activation page. Happy to consider this ask of yours as a feature request.
