We have created workflows for Request types. The workflow looks at some key aspects then fires of approval requests when appropriate. The catch: we really need to send the approver information that the customer provided on the Request when they filled out the form.
Right now, the best we’ve been able to do is send an email to the approver(s) with that information followed by a separate action that send the approval request. The result is that they get twice the email.
I would love to see the option when sending approval from a workfow of a customizable message field that would send along with the standard approval form so it can be accomplished in one action/email.
