@rashmi.nag @Isaac Thomas what is the status on this?

This is sooo annoying that almost every website I use has a darkmode and freshdesk still only has a plain white design.

This request has been open for 4 YEARS!

@danosono sorry to hear you can’t use it! I agree a native Dark Mode would be much better though and hope we get there with it soon enough! Have a great weekend ahead.

Install this browser extension and you will now have dark mode functionality :)

That is real nice for sure, but really, how hard is it for Service Fresh or Fresh Service to implement a native mode baked in.

Dark mode would be great but greater control over colour and theme windows would also be beneficial

This is starting to become a usability issue.  My team hates using Freshservice since there is no dark mode.  When you have large format monitors, the blinding white is overpowering.  Please fix ASAP.

Dark mode is a standard feature now and this is 4 years old. People are installing add-ons to deal with this problem, but those addons must have full access to the site and all its data in order to function.

 

Is there an extension for dark mode that freshdesk would endorse as safe to use?

Seems Fresh want to encourage us to discuss, but after reading this post if feels like they don't want to listen. I understand the need for prioritisation, but reading this post in its entirety makes the email I received from them above seem like a joke. A small change that would make a big impact on the CX front.

Agreed. Im currently evaluating Freshdesk to use at my company and the largest negative we have found is a lack of dark mode :(

Yes please! I and my entire team are bummed that we have to leave our Dark Theme behind during our transition to Freshservice. Not that bummed, since the pros vastly outweigh the cons, but still…..
