There should be a dark widget theme. I cannot get CSS to override it either.

I had a look at your site and the widget certainly sticks out because of the contrasting colors.

Do you think allowing the admins to customise the widget color can satisfy this requirement or are you specifically looking for a 'Dark Mode' button on the widget configuration page?
