Default Reply From Email Address Based on Groups

Can we have the option to set default reply from email addresses based on groups? I have multiple groups in my organization and they all reply from helpdesk@domain.com. They can optionally and manually change the from address them selves but that is cumbersome and not realistic. I hope there is a way we could make it default to a particular email address based on group conditions since you can create multiple to email addresses for emails to come into the helpdesk.
