Dependent Field Types

We like the dependent field option, but we need input options other than a dropdown box. Could we get other input types like single line text, number, etc? If the Group field = IT, then require a dependent field that asks for IP address..etc. This is a serious need for our organization and I can't find another workaround. I want to be able to require the IP address field for IT requests, but not show the field for Marketing requests, etc

Freshdesk allows you to create dynamic forms, where you can define separate sections with specific ticket fields based on the type field value. For example, for the type field option "IP address", you can create a section and list several fields and these fields wouldn't show up for other options.
