You should be able to display dependant fields within a Data Source to confirm details or build a rule on.
For example, if you have Reporting Manager in a Requester’s record - you should be able to display this to the Requester and ask if this is correct or if it needs to be updated or directed to a different approver.
OR
Build a rule based on a person’s role and certain fields appear based on the role they are in.
