I'm hoping that functionality for (potentially) missing attachments would be able to be implemented.
Something similar to how gmail checks for "I have attached" would be useful to have here in the few times that I have sent an email with the attachment not actually being attached.

This can be achieved through our marketplace app. You can install it from here. This works for the Classic UI.
On Freshdesk Mint, this check has been added by default and you don't have to install any app to get this working.
