Display company name in ticket view

In the ticket view I would like to see the an option to display the company name instead of the requester name or the company name in addition to the requester name.

Thank you for coming up with this Feature Request. 


I understand that it is in fact very useful to have the company name displayed within the ticket in addition to the requestor name. Will try and address this as soon as we can.

Yes. Agree. This is a MUST HAVE for us! It is really counter productive to have our techs edit a ticket and put the name in front of it.

I'm currently evaluating Freshdesk and agree, we need the ability to see the company name.  People come and go, i do need to have the name of the person who logged the call but it's more important to have the company name.  I have no idea who linda is, i have to click on the ticket to see the company name.  that's not very efficient.

I've been chasing this with Freshdesk, happy to let you know they've advised me that they have been working on it and are looking to have a release out by the end of this year with the company name beside the user.

The company name can be found in brackets next to the requester name in ticket list view.

I think this is misunderstood by Freshdesk. It would be nice to show the company name when creating a ticket. As the example above, you can search for “Linda” but where is she from? Which of the 10 Lindas is from the company you are search for??? 

This feature is only partially implemented. Yes, you can click on each contact and view the company but this is cumbersome especially if there are multiple contacts under the same name. 

Display against the contact drop down when creating a ticket would solve this! I feel like this is a basic feature.
