Dynamic ticket fields

If this is something that can already be done, please let me know how.

I'd like to integrate our New User Request form into Freshdesk, but I don't want to have all of the fields in this form visible in the new ticket form by default. What I would like to see is what I'm calling Dynamic ticket fields. For example:

I have a ticket field of "Type" with 3 choices: Problem, Project, New User

If "New User" is chosen, additional fields appear that can be required to complete this type of request. Real name, phone number, location, checkbox fields for systems they need access to, etc.

I can see this being useful in many other ways, but hopefully this specific use case gives a good example. Thanks!

Yes, this would be really useful to us to - if we had different fields available for different ticket types.

This would make the overall New Ticket page a lot less cluttered because we wouldn't have to have every field possible on the page.

Hi everyone, please refer to this article for setting up Dynamic Ticket Fields: https://support.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/212889-creating-dynamic-form We rolled this out a few months ago, sorry for the late notice!

Looking to use dynamic forms to only show certain fields based on logon id… Meaning, if a user logs in and that user has a tag (or can use another field) allowing them to see certain data we would show that selection on the form…. But if they did not have permissions we would not… Is this possible?
