Employee ID as a Default and Searchable User Field

YES! 100% agree. We are an agency with 10s of thousands of employees and we often have people with the same name so it can be hard to distinguish between who is who if you are not using their Employee ID. 

This has become so common for our employees to use that because we do not have this feature, we may get a lot of complaints once we go live.

It would also be nice if you could add in more fields that appear when you search for a person like they do with assets so you can choose which fields show up when you are searching for a person so people can check if it is the right person e.g. their location, full name, email address, department, agency, etc. Not just their name and email address. 

Having the ability to search on more fields and more show up when you try and search for someone makes it easier to determine which is the right person and preventing the incorrect person from being selected. Kind of weird that this is already not a feature.
