Expand Jira Integration to include the components field in Jira.

Components are a useful integration because there are different sub sections of a system.

For example,

FreshDesk is a agile board in Jira, but you might add Live Chat as a component tag to send it to a different section of the board.

I have raised this before: the concept of a customer specific Product Field (component) that could be mapped to Jira so that, depending on the product being reported on, it could be mapped to Jira Component field.

Really they need to add mapping to Epics, Sprints, and assignee as well. The whole point is to get these assigned to someone and on the sprint/agile board without having to go into jira itself.

This is an awesome integration for how simple it is to install, but it lacks some features. Adding these changes would help compartmentalize Dev/Customer support which could be a big selling point for companies that use Jira.

Freshdesk, any updates on this?

It needs to include all the fields in that project. Not just one more.

Hello Folks,

The Assignee field is now available by default, when you try to create/link an issue . By default, the integration fetches all the fields that have been made required for a specific project . So, in order to display any custom fields in the JIRA widget inside freshdesk, you can make the field required for all projects/specific projects.

Cheers!
