It would be very valuable to have more customization or flexibility when creating Onboarding Kits and adding Service Catalog items. Specific ideas below:

  • Ability to list items in a particular order (drag & rearrange)
  • Ability to group items by type or custom (computer, software, access, etc)
  • Conditions to reveal certain items based on previous selections (without having to customize the Catalog Items themselves)

These are all QoL improvements that can be made and would benefit both the Agent(s) and the End-User(s).

We are currently doing a body of work to make onboarding and offboarding more flexible as well as facilitating other types of processes. We are referring to this as Employee Journeys and I will pass this information onto the relevant product manager.

Also a way to mirror the catalog item’s requirement.

If the associated service item has an attachment required then the stakeholder should be able upload an attachment IF that service item is selected.

There is more missing:

  • Bundled Items of a Service added to a Kit are ignored - there is a reason why its bundled and Onboarding should respect that
  • Why am i building Kits when the Reporting manager or Stakeholder has no way to select an entire Kit, the manager wants one of the predefined IT setups, he does not care about the components
  • When there are multiple Kits available all components are mixed together?

Do you have an ETA on release of Employee Journeys?
