Just as the title says, we would like to be able to format or “point out” code in the text boxes for replies and public/private notes. Seems to us like an easy thing to implement and will be extremely useful to the product in general.

This would be really important, as I can't see any other way to display code in ticket notes.  Not even via workarounds.

We started using FreshService in early 2023 and I requested the ability to format fonts or have code blocks in notes and replies early on, but we’re still waiting…. Having the ability to use different fonts, including at least one monospaced font, would help our responses to requesters make more sense, look more professional, and be easier to comprehend. It’s not like our tickets are all so simple as “resetting a password.”

It looks like they’re using TinyMCE (third party Text Editor) and it totally supports a font-family drop down, so it should be as simple as giving us an appropriate font to choose from. It’s been 2 years and we only have 6 upvotes on this idea and no progress? This seems like a no-brainer. There are probably better ways to implement this with full syntax highlighting and language selection (which is available in Microsoft Teams, for example.) However, I’d be happy to just make the text look different than all the other text. I don’t even care if its Consolas, Courier New, or even an open source option like Courier Prime.

Found what looks like a duplicate idea:
