Please develop a little dancing notification icon for the top right of the admin dashboard so that I can easily see when when there are new forum posts without having to remember to go and manually check in the Forums if posts need moderation.

+6How about adding a side-panel column on the main dashboard that will show the number of posts that needs moderation? Will that be helpful to moderate the topics quickly?

How does it work?
Whenever there are any forum topics in the 'Waiting for Approval' or 'Spam' list, a widget with a summary will show up in the main dashboard on the right side panel for all agents with moderation permission. When both the lists are empty, the moderation widget will not be displayed on the dashboard.
