Provide the ability in Forums to not only vote and add comments, but have custom vote limits for clients/customers and a hierarchal vote system, similar to the previous requests:

https://support.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/44

This would then provide each client/customer x number of votes per time period (for example a month) and they can allocate their votes accordingly (instead of liking a requests).

This would then provide us with a more measured means to assess requests/feedback from our client allowing us to better improve our product and target requests/feedback which is  beneficial to all users.

This would appear similar to uservoice but an email address would either autofill or be recorded in the background as the client would need to login to vote.

I love this idea, we used to have it in uservoice and our clients felt as though they had a big part in our development. Since swapping to freshdesk our support has been of the charts but clients are now getting a little annoyed as they do not see a clear indication of how our features are getting developed.

It would be amazing to be able to explain to them they have the ability to vote, up to 50 votes per user account they have with freshdesk. When a feature is developed their vote is then returned or they can remove their vote if they have something that is more of a priority.

This allows us to then be able to see clearly where the customers needs and wants are and build feature appropriate to them.

Hello,

Users would be able to upvote a feature request or add their thoughts as comments on the forum thread. This option will be available only for logged in users and if the user isn't logged in, he/she would see a prompt that would drive them to login to post a comment.

We don't have any restrictions with the number of votes an user can give at any point of time. In the feature request forum threads, they would see the option as "Do you like this idea?" and pressing this button, gets counted as a vote.

Cheers!
