I just noticed we cannot insert Solutions or Canned Responses into Forums. This would be extremely useful as we are trying to utilize our forums more.

Forums can be auto-set to create tickets for every topic posted. You could then reply to the forum post via the ticket and use canned responses/solution article content. Do you think this approach works?

I think the need is more than creating a ticket. If someone posts to a forum topic, and we have common language that we want to use in the forum, not in a ticket. And if we want to refer the post to an article in the KB, for everyone in the forum to read, it's currently difficult as you need to go to the KB and copy/paste the URL. It's inefficient.

+12Thanks, @Trace. I was just trying to highlight the other option that's currently available.Definitely agree that adding articles will be made easier by including the option similar to the tickets.
I'll add this to the backlog and see if we can pick this up at a later time.

+1Support for /c and /s in the forum editor would be a major improvement. We are looking at alternative to vBulletin for our forums and this feature would remove some major pain points in our current implementation.
