We use FreshDesk as a dispatch solution for field technicians. It works great but it's not exactly designed for that. Why not take it all the way? The only thing you need are en-rout, on-site, complete buttons (with timers) and time stamps.

Another useful tool would be to have the system push one job at a time to a tech, rather than show them the whole pool. We could manually split them up into regions of the city as different groups.

We also use freshdesk for our field service engineers. What we would like is an automated time registration.

I created a few scenarios for traveling, arrived and done, but it would be nice if it was possible to start stop the timer by the scenario....

How do you manage freshdesk for field service? Can you send us some example? We want use this for that.

Hello,

We'd love to expand the horizon and make Freshdesk useable for Field Service. We'd love to talk to some of you & try picking up your brains to shape up this feature. We want to understand how Field Service is currently managed in your organisation and probably some pointers on where Freshdesk can fit in to make the process easier. Please drop us a note here if you're interested to join the conversation.

Cheers!
