freshdesk needs a fully integrated screen capture tool or screenr screencast integration

hi notice zendesk has screenr.com integration
would be great to be able to include a screenr button in the support area
and also importantly on the help widget screen
so customers can take screencast vidoes and attach to their tickets 

are there any plans for this 
or a screen cpature function similar to snapengage.com?

Yes please as soon as possible please, I noticed Freshdesk.com uses screenr themselves, so I am sure we will see it soon. Right guys?

Bumping this.. I started using the free version of Screenr and it's indeed very nice, a direct integration with FD would be a great plus. Don't lag behind Zendesk. I'm always receiving info from Zendesk regarding new features etc, would like to see the same dynamic from FD.

8 months ago Freshdesk.com was using SCREENR, 8 months later, non-freshdesk.com integrations still cannot use SCREENR.

Where is our update?

 


I should note, that using the Feedback Widget puts a "Take Screenshot" button embedded into the site.  However; you cannot actually take a screenshot with it (only upload a file).

My apologies for the delayed response. We are exploring integrating with Screenr and we are planning to include it in our road map. Will keep you guys updated

Just as everyone else here, we were also using Screenr to record screens and share it with our users. Sadly, Screenr has shut down owing to the fact that JAVA RE is no longer supported in modern browsers. There are quite a few other alternatives to Screenr like Hippo video and I'd like to list down the integrations here.


  1. Integrate Hippo video with Freshdesk
  2. Iorad solution article maker
  3. Cloudapp for Freshdesk
