Could be interesting for me to be abble to give a public url of my ticket some time.

I don't want to allow all my ticket with public url, juste some.

It's just a link in my dashboard like : "get the public url".

Basically I create a "report ticket", where I give my timesheet to my client.

I would like give him an public url for share with his team.

Best regards.

Guillaume

Hi,

This can be achieved by using an observer webhook to automatically update a ticket with the public ticket url value. Reach out to support(at)freshdesk.com to know more about this option.

Alternatively, you can create a canned response with the public ticket url inserted via placeholder - {{ticket.public_url}} and use it in the ticket reply.

Cheers!

Hello Freshdesk team, wanted to ask about public_url, since it's ticket property and it's available in webhooks and mail templates, why to not put it in ticket page? It is very usable thing for example for us, and webhook triggering in Dispatch'r to set public_url into custom field must be set in all dispatch'r rules because first rule that match will stop

@Victor Did you try my suggestion to add the public ticket url as a canned response? It doesn't affect your automation rules set up and also easy to configure. I'd love to hear what you think about this :)

Cheers!

Dear Aravind,

Did you implement any other solution that could simply provide the public_url through the API (without any callback rule) since your last reply ?

Best

Hello David,

Aravind has mentioned the avenues using which the public ticket URL can be obtained. That said, I'm afraid the public ticket URL cannot be obatined using API.

Cheers!
