I would like to be able to send Google Docs files (.gdoc extension) as attachments.

+2Hi Kaley, thanks for your request I understand your concern here, however we currently do not have any plans to support this file extension. A workaround would be adding it as a link. We'll keep looking for ways this could be possible, but for now it's not something we are planning to build.
