When a FreshDesk URL is selected in an email and the FreshDesk app is installed in the device, open the URL using the FreshDesk app instead of web browser.  (similar to LinkedIn et al..)

Has there been any development with this feature request, or perhaps another way of accomplishing this?  Not only would it be helpful with email, but also w/ text messages.

Any update on this?

Hi everyone, the next version (3.2) of the Android app which will be releasing shortly will have the ability to open links to tickets in the app by default. This works as long as your portal URLs are of the form somestring.freshdesk.com. It won't work for vanity URLs (Freshdesk set up in your own domains) yet, but we're working on something for accounts with those portals too.

3 years later and using v3.8.5, any update about using the ticket links from apps like Gmail to open up the Freshdesk Android app automatically using vanity URLs? Thanks in advance!
