Hide Recent Activity (Especially for Closed Tickets)

I would love to have only recent activity for OPEN tickets displayed on the main page. Or the option to set it that way. Right now, I'm overwhelmed with all the extra information I don't need. I don't care about closed tickets, only open ones so even if it were just a disclosure traingle that could reveal hidden activity for closed tickets, that would be much nicer.

Ultimately, it would be great if we could "design" the main page by placing the most important elements for our business on it.

I'd hide the activity altogether (making all of it hidden under a disclosure triangle at the bottom of the page) and have the top 3-5 (number assignable) most recently opened tickets that haven't been responded to at the top just under the Ticket Summary. Each open ticket preview would be a small, horizontal box showing the first 2-3 sentences of the ticket's content.

Thanks for a great help desk system! :)

Hi Zack

Thanks for your feedback on Freshdesk and we promise to keep the experience Fresh :)

We will surely consider your feature on the activity and see if we can address this by some easier configuration option. We are going to be providing more rebranding and CSS option soon, so that users can include some widgets etc. We will keep you posted on this.

Thanks and regards

Hey Vijay,

Has there been any progression on this?

Thanks,

+1

I'm using the FreshDesk API to migrate tickets from an old help desk and in to FreshDesk. I'm adding them as CLOSED. I don't want to see them in the Activity window since there will be hundreds.

How can we stop this?

Maybe A Dispatch'r rule or some other rule (If ticket is Closed, don't show in Recent Activity).
