Hide the "Submit a Ticket" button on Forums, or substitute with "Start a Topic"

Users go to forums, but because there is no easy way to start a topic on the forum front page if they don't click through to one of the main topics, they click on "Submit a Ticket", which is always visible.  There should be a way to customize the forum tab so that either the submit a ticket button is hidden, or is replaced with a "start a topic" button for creating a forum post.

Hello,

The Start a new topic button can be now clearly distinguished from the rest of the section. In addition to this, you can still hide the New ticket option when the users visit the forum page using portal customisation available from the Estate plan and onwards.

Cheers!

Hi Arvaind,

Any suggestiions on how you can use portal customisation to hide 'New Ticket' on a portal but leave it in place on another?

I have seen stylesheet suggestions elsewhere on forums but none are working for me as yet.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Ewan
