Currently the holiday schedule relies on a statically set day and month which can cause inaccuracies year to year. It would be helpful to have an additional option (for US holidays and likely other countries) to specify holidays in the following format -
First/2nd/3rd/4th/Last “specific day of the week” in “specific month”.

Examples for US holidays include Memorial Day always occurs on the last Monday in May. Another example is Labor Day always occurs on the first Monday in September. If this notation could be used and the exact date could be determined by the back end, the holiday schedule would be a “set up once” item.

Alternatively, can we have a set of regional holidays maintained by Freshservice and the ability to then indicate which of those holidays each organization follows for work purposes?  Paired with the ability to then add custom holidays, this would be a nice improvement.

Good point. This option sort of exists already, you can import from pre-generated lists from Freshservice. It seems though that they aren’t maintained often/are merely to assist with setting up your own list with less manual entry. We initially just imported the US Holiday list from their pre-generated option assuming that this was already the case, but the dates for some of the holidays that move around were inaccurate and several years old based on the dates provided. If these lists were updated by Freshservice on a yearly basis and our tenants automatically pulled the updated list at the beginning of each year after the update, this idea would also work really well.
