How to set Ticket field value using APi in jquery

Hi Folks,

I am using jquery and I want to set the value of a ticket field. This field is a custom field. As shown in the attached snapshot.

Can I get some help regarding making the API call using jquery.

I could find somem information here, but its not using Jquery.
