I think there is room for improvement within the Canned Response editor primarily with regards to formatting options (or the lack thereof)
I think these features, if made available, would prove quite helpful:
+8I’ll note that we also struggle with added whitespace. A canned response that looks nicely formatted both in the Canned Response view and when first added to a ticket seems to convert single returns to double-spaced returns upon sending leading to some odd formatting due to added whitespace. While other canned responses don’t exhibit this behavior which makes it very hard to know when to add or remove a hard return.
