Improved API documentation and feedback

It would be helpful if the API listed all of the fields for a ticket (or for any object) and then indicated which could be retrieved, which could be used for creating a ticket and then which could be used for updating a ticket. 

It would also be exceptionally useful if the system provided a little more feedback when it comes across a field that it doesn't like. Right now, it just spits back a 500 error and I have to guess what it didn't like about my submission.
