I would love the ability to include attachments in canned responses.  (pdf., video, etc.)

Hi Guys:

Potential customer here, doing some evaluation.  Is there an update to this feature request or is there another way you would suggest using FB to accomplish this?  Is there a better way than to create a KB article and refer to that in the canned response?

Thanks in Advance,

J

It would be great to be able to embed images into canned responses, as well as add attachments.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for writing in our Forums and putting forth such wonderful suggestions.

I have passed the requirement to our Product Management team. But we are not planning to take this up immediately. Might take a while.

Will keep you all posted for sure.

Thanks again for your suggesstions and please keep it coming.

Also, you can try using a drop box link of the file you wish to attach in the Canned Response.

Check out the solution article below for more information on the Freshdesk-Dropbox integration.

We have added most of the documents we want to include in canned responses to our solution portal for self service by our customers  and now in the canned responses are just linking to the solution ... this is actually better as it gives our customers visibility and experience with the solutions portal and we hope will cause them to begin looking there prior to opening a ticket.  It still would be nice to be able to add a document that we may not want in the portal but this solves about 90% of our need.

Folks,

This has already been implemented. You'd be able to add images/attach files to canned response templates.

Cheers!
