Making a link to tickets, topics and solutions require to copy and paste the entire URL.

Solution 1

Currently the link panel in the editor has tre tabs: URL, Email and Anchor

It would be the perfect place to have a third tab with an embedded search for ticket, topics and solutions.

Solution 2 (for tickets)

enclose the ticket number in brackets e.g. [#246] expanded publicly to the correct url.

+1 for Solution 2.  This is a pretty basic thing that Bugzilla had many years ago.  In Bugzilla, you would just do #2993 and it creates a link to the other ticket.   Or has this already been implemented and I just do not know the correct notation?

Thanks,

Stan

Hello,

You'd be able to search and insert solution article links in the reply without having to copy-paste the entire url. We've made it easier for agents to add articles while drafting the replies using the quick actions

We haven't seen a lot of requests for linking tickets. We'll look into the option at a later point of time.

Cheers!
