Integrating eBay with freshdesk

Hi Ben,


Quite a few of our customer's are using Amazon seller central with Freshdesk by adding a forwarding rule on Amazon to point to their Freshdesk support email address. The only additional requirement is that user notifications should be disabled for such a accounts since Amazon drops all messages except the ones that have buyer communication.



Regarding eBay integration, we have worked out a solution that handles ask the seller a question kind of messages in Freshdesk. It is under engineering review at the moment. It will make to production tentatively in a month's time.

has their been any update to this? I dont' want to pay for the highest level of your setup just to make eBay messaging work

Freshdesk's eBay integration will be tentatively released as a beta program for select customers tentatively this weekend and should be available from Monday 28th Sep, 2015.

This feature is now available in beta release for Estate and Forest customers. Please get in touch with your sales representative or support@freshdesk.com in case you would like to use this feature for your production account. A brief description of the new feature is attached. We will come out with a comprehensive solution article shortly.

The Freshdesk eBay integration is built on the available API limitations from eBay and hence provisioned to the highest paid plan at the moment. We hope to acquire higher API limits in future and at that time this feature would be evaluated for extension to other plans.
