Hi!


Do you have any plans on integrating Freshdesk with Slack? What I would be interested in is to have notifications about new tickets and ticket state changes pushed to a specific channel from which you can open it in Freshdesk. I saw another feature request open about notifications however there were no mention about Slack there.

I definitely like Carl's idea. I hope you can update the implementation to adapt these suggested buttons and notification options.

You can find the latest information about the slack integration here. The integration allows you to:


1. Send ticket updates to a public or private channel in Slack

2. Send ticket creation or update events as a DM to agents in slack

3. Enable agents to use Slack bot to convert slack DMs into tickets

I have a new Slack question. I love the existing slack notification to a channel when a ticket is created. Is it possible to notify a specific agent via Slack when a note has been added to a ticket?


Could we have an option to omit the default Slack message that is appended in the Slack integration? Some of the beauty with Slack is that communication is kept simple and unbloated. I'd love to be able to create a custom minimal, stripped message without the default payload - and so would my developers that i spam :-P

You can edit the message that you have configured, in the automation set up to push notifications to slack, under admin>automations>ticket updates tab.
