Interrupt keys or modifiable keystrokes for keyboard shortcuts

There’s been some discussion about this but no attention from the mods that I can see. I posted a discussion https://community.freshworks.com/topic/show?tid=22770&fid=11246 about this but no joy. Others have had the same issue with shortcuts firing unexpectedly. One thread about this sat there for 4 years and then was archived without explanation. Anything new?
