Introduce Direct Association for Vendor to all Asset Types

It would be really helpful to be able to associate Vendors directly to Assets - we have created a custom asset type to input our properties and would like to be able to match Vendors (Landlords) directly with the asset. Please let us know if this can be possible? Thanks!
