Is there a way to migrate Helpdesk from Freshservice to Fresdesk?

Thanks for your question. Presently we do not have an automated way of migration between Freshservice to Freshdesk. Nevertheless, we can execute a trial run to explore the feasibility. Would it be possible for you to share your export xml. If the trial is acceptable, then we can execute the same process for production.

As a corollary, a ticket only import that comes in the csv format is automated and can be done at a short notice.

What is meant by "share your export xml"?  Do you mean our Help Desk setup?

Priyobrato, attached is our sample Freshdesk XML files.  Let me know it you need anything else, and please keep me in the loop, as the linking of Freshdesk and Freshservice is very, very important to the welfare of our teams!

Additionally, I have deleted the sample xml from the forum to avoid any security concerns.

Anastasia here with Help Desk Migration. I found the link to our app in the last comment, but it’s out of date, so I decided to loop in and give an update. 

 

I'd be interested to find out why you have made the decision to move from Freshservice to Freshdesk as this is something I am currently looking into for our business.

 

Freshdesk and Freshservice are both great products. It really depends on your business needs which one to go with. However, Freshservice has Tasks, Changes and Problems. These can be very helpful if you’re an IT team/business. Many of our customers migrated from Freshdesk to Freshservice to extend their possibilities. 

As for the migration, you can use the Help Desk Migration service. The app can move your help desk and knowledge base data. There are also features that allow you to match users, groups, ticket fields and article statuses between these systems. Finally, the app come with some automated customization options. So, you get complete control over the process while saving yourself the time needed to figure out the whole migration process.
