The comment notification email (the one one you get when someone comments on a forum thread you are following) should have a link directly back to the forum thread. This would help the recipient if they needed more context on the thread and hopefully generate more discussions/replies/community activity.

Absolutely, I'd consider this more of a bug then a feature request.
I personally have experienced this when I have gotten a reply to something I posted on this forum. It's made worse by the fact that there is no way for a user to see the threads they have recently posted or subscribed... and the fact that responses are't indexed for several hours so searching sometimes doesn't work...
I would say that this becomes yet even more of a problem when the individual replies and it opens a ticket? Is there a way around that as a problem? I'm noticing that when we have a comment added to a topic that the reply (if done by email) goes to the ticket and not the thread.

The forum update notification now includes the link to the topic along with a preview of the actual comment.As it still stands , it is not possible to edit this template.
