Is this still being planned?

A previous topic requesting this seems to be deleted.

This is actually the one thing preventing us from switching to Mint.  We NEED to be able to access the chat archives.

@Joe@Jill: Freshdesk Mint is powered by Freshchat as the chat channel through which your customers can reach out to. Freshchat archives can be accessed separately and they wouldn't be made available in Freshdesk. Take a look this section to know more about the Freshdesk - Freshchat integration.

Cheers!

Are you saying we have to pay for a service (Freshchat) that was once included in Freshdesk now?  Are you going to disable the chat feature in our account unless it's tied to a Freshchat account?  If so, that seems like a bait and switch for V2 and not the best way to do business...

I did a little research and according to this article, it states you'll be adding the widgets back, which currently allow us to view the chat archives.  Is this not true? https://support.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/229464-what-s-changed-in-freshdesk-mint

Live Chat, Phone and Agents Available widgets

These widgets have been been temporarily removed and will be added soon.

Hello Jill,

I was trying to highlight Freshchat's integration with Mint and I'm sorry if it sounded like anything else. If you're already using Live chat in Freshdesk, if you wish to move to Mint, we'll get Freshchat enabled for your account at no additional cost. Freshchat has its own pricing plans and features but we'll enable the plan that has parity with the features available in Live chat.

These widgets wouldn't be available on Freshdesk but they can be accessed along with the reports on Freshchat.

Cheers!

Thank you Aravind, we will probably be taking you up on that soon.  We are currently researching Mint for our team.
