Managing Ticket Filters

I have a long list of ticket filters: some are default and many are custom. I am unsure of how they get listed in the order that they do and I would like to change this order.

And there is a separator line in the list. What does that mean and how can I control where a filter is placed. Just seems so random where it will appear in the list.

How can I customize this list? There should be a Filters option in the Admin.

Hello Craig,

I'm sure you'd have noticed this by now - We've introduced the filter search on the list view page to aid the user to pick the right saved view. Also, on the MINT interface , the custom saved views would be available on the top followed by the default views , both arranged in alphabetical order.

It would be definitely helpful to sort the saved filter views but at this moment, I'm sure these two options would prove to be helpful to a certain extent.

Cheers!

I appreciate the response, even if 4 months later, but the current default ordering is not sufficient. Custom ordering (like the order of Dispatcher rules) is necessary in order to present a list that is easy to find the most used filters for each agent.

And do I have the option to use the MINT interface or is is the default. It is not clear what this means to me.

@Craig: We haven't been living upto our standards on the community forums as we'd like to but things are changing for good. You'll see more reactions on the forums going forward.

Custom ordering of filters would definitely be a great value add and I'll talk to the product manager and see if we can slot this in the scheme of things planned. But, I just wanted to let you know that in the new MINT interface, the filters are arranged in a better way.

MINT has been enabled for a batch of accounts already and we're enabling it for accounts on demand. There are quite a few items that are yet to see the light in MINT and hence the phased rollout.I'm creating a support ticket for enabling MINT on your helpdesk.

Cheers!
