@jochen Yes, we're using the mobile website also, but like Remi, we need to enter billable time. We have to put it in desktop view to enter time, and that's totally cumbersome. We evaluated LOTS of ticket systems before we settled on Freshdesk, this obviously isn't a hard request to implement, even free Spiceworks has it.

Tried to login via mobile and was trying to resolve tickets. I can't seem to find a way to access the solutions or canned response, is this feature available for mobile devices?

Hello everybody,

I am excited to tell you that we released the beta version of Freshdesk android app and invited few folks to test and give feedback. Incase you want to be part of this Beta testers group, please shoot out an email to support@freshdesk.com with the id you use to access the Play store and we will invite you to this group.

This version of the app will let you (and not limited to) -

  1. Respond to your tickets, assign it to agents, change its priority, mark it as spam or send them to trash right from your phone.
  2. Stay on top of tickets that matter the most with 9+ default Views and unlimited custom Views. Choose whether you want to solve the newest problem first or the most urgent one.
  3. Create new tickets, choose scenarios to execute and log times spent on a ticket on the fly. Take your support desk everywhere you go.
  4. Insert canned responses when needed and attach files as necessary directly from your device or from Dropbox when you reply to your tickets
  5. Add private notes that only other agents can see, forward tickets, or just stay in the loop as a “watcher”
  6. Quickly search your list of customers or the right solution in your knowledge base for a question or for that one ticket that you know has popped up earlier somewhere.
  7. Get a quick overview of your help desk with a summary of Open tickets, Overdue Tickets, and Tickets due today.

Status on the iPhone app

Our iOS team is currently working on the iPhone app and with our current velocity, we can release it in the later part of Decemeber or early January. We will inform you when the beta version of the app is available so that you can test and give us your feedback.

Thank you for your patience.

Cheers,

Chandra.

The android application is very good. I think people will be very pleased. Well thought out. I would love to see a chat option with this application so agents and customers alike can communicate when away from the office.

Chandra, any update on the iOS app?

+1 for an Android app. It just seems more practical to "quickly check the status" than the web versions.
