Re-iterate everything above - particularly re font size

So when is HTML code editor going to be enabled for tickets?  Seems extremely basic.  What's the hold up?  We're paying a fee to use theses services.  Let's get it done!  FULL code view for tickets please, as well as code snippets, etc.  Just enable everything already!

Please add block quotes.  I guess code snippets could do the same job, it doesn't really matter how it's achieved, but being able to provide excerpts that are clearly separated from the rest of the text in a ticket is a must.

The current font size is VERY TINY! I can barely read it, and I'm not THAT old. These FreshDesk emails are the only ones I can even recall that give me such small fonts. Let's bump up the default size to at least 16px or give us the option. Here's an article from 4 years ago that in my opinion should already be recognized as the standard. I know it's about websites, but the same goes for email/mobile.

+1 on font type and font size.

These are basic features ...

I second everything here! When I copy something from a different email to paste in, why does it change the font size and make it smaller? The editor has very odd behavior that makes it hard to communicate because we have to double check everything we typed before we press Send to ensure it doesn't go out looking funky.  I should be able to set the default font type and size on my emails.

I need to add sample code to my ticket replies. Can't seem to find a way to do this right now.

Apparently adding code formatting was promised by the admin, here, 5 years ago. Still there isn't seem to be an option for this

5 years and still no solution?

Can you help me understand your definition of "soon"?

"Funny" how you can insert "code snippets" in this forum but not when replying to a ticket. ;) I need this very much. We are supporting an API...

Thanks,

Dominic.

Some sort of code mode with monospace font, to paste terminal output, tables, code or whatever to users in ticket replies would be a huge improvement. Far more so than having bold, italics and that sort of primitive stuff. The ticket reply editor is very limited.

Why is this in the implemented section yet we cannot use it?

When can we get code snippet format (console or monospace font, at least) in ticket replies?

This is the single most needed format in our tickets and I am sure many others.

I also would like to have a Better Text editor, I have multiple tickets to Freshdesk running to help with the problems of our brand image since this is not possible in Reaction formatting, I try to enforce a good reason to stay with freshdesk but the CEO of the company irritate's on the fact that the replies aren't perfect Calibri 11 Fonts. such a simple thing but impossible with Freshdesk meaning we possibly have to migrate to a support portal that can support us enforcing our brand on all locations of the Company.

I just want to be able to do exaclty what Gmail allows. The Freshdesk Ticket will display what comes from Gmail replies but doesn't allow you to respond with the same.

Craig and others, I came the simple conclusion a long time ago that Freshdesk simply doesn't care. If it quacks and acts, it must be... As long as they get our money...

Freshdesk does not care. It's that simple.

Just want to throw this out there:

Our team has bypassed all editor challenges by using this: https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here

It's been great for us and I'd love to hear your opinions.

Thanks JConner - works like a charm.

Problem solved - just wish Freshdesk would solve it for us instead of having to use a third party.

The frustrating thing is that the editor for 'Solutions' is exactly what we are asking for.  It seems a little ridiculous that we've been asking for SIX YEARS for a feature that already available in a different tab of the product.   SIX YEARS!!!!!

+1 vote here for monospaced fonts in replies. I would bet that a large number of Freshdesk customers work in tech, and being able to type a code block into a ticket reply would be most helpful.

Agreed - the browser plugin that was recommended is nice but it has some usability issues that make it not perfect. Really would like to know why Freshdesk can't roll out this feature in quick time.
