@Freshdesk- do you have any update on this? We need more options for formatting our support ticket responses. Thank you.

Agreed - this is a 6 yr old post and the functionality exists in other components. I'd have to say at least 70% of my replies have some sort of code (inline and block) in them.

Any update?

I would like to have the ability to hide/show areas of text on a ticket note - some of the tickets we have incoming are log files, used to diagnose App issues, some of these can be 30,000 rows or longer, having no ability to minimise or hide text (similar to the 'spoiler' feature on most forums) really does clog up and make ticket management really quite painful.

Is this something that can be implemented into this feature or am i barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks

Is there any chance that we will get more formatting options for email replies in the MINT experience? We want to be able to change the font size.

@Mark I suggest you create a new thread for your idea/request.

@Barbara, good luck with that. This area has been a source of disappointment for some time.

If it is possible to add this to the forum, then it should also be possible to add the option to ticket replies.

Atlassian Jira Service Desk got this...

I fully realise that you want to be able to add HTML code to ticket replies. But don't look at KB articles. There it does not work - as agent you can see it, and it looks nice, but as customer looking at the site it does not work...

Any update on this?  I can't believe this has been an open issue for 5 years.  Most of my support tickets involve code or log snippets, and the fact that I can't even set a monospaced font is a huge pain.  The Chrome plugin suggested a few years ago no longer works either, so I'm just stuck.

Agree with Andrew - this is seriously the #1 feature I need for replies. I had this in previous support systems. Is this an editor widget issue? Because that "backspace issue" keeps happening randomly to me and other very odd glitchy issues that are hard to reproduce and even explain. Just seems like a very flaky editor widget.

@AndrewYoung - do you mean the Markdown Here plugin? It seems to work for me - eg

var s = "JavaScript syntax highlighting";
alert(s);

The Markdown Here plugin does work, I'm not sure why it was giving me problems at first.

Still, it would be nice if the editor used for solutions was also used for replies.
