We are transitioning to to FreshService and our current asset system auto increments an an asset ID that we then print on a barcode to label equipment.
A lot of our equipment has been built in our shop and doesn't have a serial number on the case. It's also easier for our employees to read off a 6 digit tag number, instead of trying read a tiny s/n.
Is there a way to do something similar in FreshService?
