I see a similar topic with the stamp 'implemented' but this seems wrong, so a new topic.

We would like to regulary clean up the contactlist due to privacy regulations but contacts should not be marked as SPAM automaticly. Is this a possibility?

Actually strange that if you delete a contact the emailaddress is still saved on a spamlist or not (See GDPR right to be forgotten).

I agree with Ronald that the last thread should not be marked as implemented. I've been having a discussion with Hemanthkumar and he directed me to the forums here. I'm not sure why though as they never seem to listen. That last thread regarding this topic is 2 years old.

FD needs to turn off the feature that marks all messages from SOFT DELETED contacts as SPAM.

It looks like nothing has been done on this topic. Can we please have the setting changed so that we can soft delete contacts and they will NOT be marked as SPAM?

Hello Everyone!

Apologies for the delay in response.

Currently, soft deleting a contact would mark the future tickets as SPAM automatically intending that the user is not valid. On the other hand, hard deletion would erase off the entire data that is associated with the contact. So, when the same contact raises a ticket again, it creates a new ticket and would not end up in SPAM. @R.zwartjes: Hard deleting a contact should ideally solve your requirement. @Veronica: Thanks for your suggestion. We are happy to explore the possibilities of changing the behavior of contact deletion. You can follow this space for any updates on the new features/enhancements from us.

Cheers!
